Boring night on the trainer
My kids were up early this morning, ready for the Easter bunny. Maggie (6yo daughter) and Quinn (4yo son) captured my full attention and I bagged my morning ride. I had been invited to do more hill repeats out at High Rock road - I declined. Last week I had 3 days of hill work.
Easter brunch with the in-laws and more jelly beans and chocolate than I should consume in a month. My body was shaking - yes I need to work on the nutrition thing too. I did wash my rain bike and put my trainer wheel back on my race bike. After dinner and the evening routine with the kids, I got on the trainer for an hour just to keep my HR around 125. I need to get the cadence sensor set-up on the race bike. The chain stays are super beefy on the S-Works Tarmac and the sensor rubs the wheel magnet no matter how much I adjust it, so I had to move it past the crank arm just to get the speed sensor to work. I could put a magnet on my shoe...
