Training Ride Saturday, March 22

Today's training ride was awesome in so many dimensions. Beautiful weather, experienced riders, who I trust, challenging terrain and a few good tips from the riders who know a heck of a lot more than I do.
The atraction this morning was Cougar mountain, aka Zoo (L'Alp d'Issaquah). We rode it twice just for fun or maybe we just felt guilty for not racing today.
When the weather is cool and dry, I don't sweat enough to make contact with my heart rate sensor and then I think that I bumped it or something on the second climb, so there are some odd data points to the HR curve.
For the climbs, our captain advised us to try and repeat the same effort and time ourselves. I am trying to figure the Garmin out as I go and hit lap button when we started our climb and when we ended our climb. I left the rest up to Garmin and ended up with about 12 laps for the entire ride. The two laps of interest are in the next blog entry.
