Tour de Dung Sequim #2

We got lucky.
Despite snow and wet conditions in Seattle, we had sunshine and dry roads in the morning for the races in Sequim.
Well, I did not meet my goal of making the top ten in the finish. I made top 15 and went from 2nd place to 14 in the last 100m. I was spent and could not even stand to sprint at the end.
Wind was stiff out of the usual direction off the water. The average was slower than Sequim #1.
My heart rate monitor was not picking up. Apparently, my Garmin was picking up someone else's and various points. I felt about the same as Sequim #1 and spent most of my time on the front with two riders from Carter Subaru. I thought that the three of us were going to make it until the last 100 meters.

Bummer. Are you going to be able to make it out to the weekday series at all? They are large fields and do cound for 4-3 upgrade points.

How was the fatigue level from the more intense intervals during the week? Not too bad?

Yep, I did the very same mistake in the end of Mason Lake 3. With 1K to go you are leading someone else if you are in front. That is unless you can go 30 mph for 1 minute.
